Performance Bio:
Joe Farren performs solo on acoustic guitar, keyboard, and harmonica. The covers he performs range from the piano styles of Ray Charles and Elton John to the guitar styles of James Taylor and Jason Mraz. Joe’s wide range of styles and his diverse list of cover songs make him a versatile performer who can please almost any audience and atmosphere. Joe can accommodate a dinner crowd with mellow background music, capture a crowd’s attention with his introspective lyrics, and get a crowd on their feet with his boogie-woogie piano styles, his unique twist on today’s top 40 hits, and his classic rock repertoire. Often he accomplishes all in one evening.
When it comes to DJing, Joe’s positive energy and his ability to read a room is unmatched. His professionalism and relaxed demeanor make working with him easy and fun. He will work with you to create the soundtrack for the happiest day of your life. Joe’s sound equipment is state of the art and his music collection is large enough to make any music fan jealous!
Wedding Package:
Ceremony:
Solo classical piano and/or guitar as well as singing any request by bride and groom.
Cocktail/Dinner Hour:
A contemporary twist on the traditional jazz cocktail set. In addition to the traditional repertoire, Joe plays and sings the classic and contemporary songs of the last fifty years. Hits by the likes of Elton John, Billy Joel, Van Morrison, Michael Buble, James Taylor, Dave Mathews etc.
Reception:
Don't be hesitant when asking this musician to do the DJ and MC portion of the evening. Joe is at heart, just a fan of music. He has a massive collection of wedding music and loves to get the crowd dancing. Years of performing has provided Joe a comfort level behind the microphone that only experience of that sort can achieve. His MC style is very easy going, precise, and effective but never overbearing.

We took the task of finding a wedding DJ and musician very seriously. We interviewed at least five and after months of searching, finally found Joe… and we are so glad we did! He worked with us to create the day we imagined. He is responsive, organized and easy to work with. We asked him to play live music for our ceremony (a definite highlight) and cocktail hour and to DJ our reception. We would not change a thing. His music fit our tastes perfectly and he gladly accepted our requests, “do not plays” and our desire to have a great party!
Our guests loved his live music and it definitely added to the feeling of our day. He is talented and went above and beyond to make it to all three of our locations (ceremony, cocktail, reception).
